What is Tikkun Olam?
Tikkun Olam means “repairing the world.”
For the Jewish community, we understand that it is our mission (and pleasure!) to heal what is broken, to lift up those who are vulnerable, and to build a community where every human being is treated with dignity.
Why a Dedicated Tikkun Olam Fund?
Amid the many worthy causes needing our support, those with significant disabilities often go unseen and unnoticed. The Tikkun Olam Fund was created as an initiative rooted in Jewish values — to support inclusion, opportunity, and purpose for adults with disabilities in our Milwaukee community.
Anyone can give.
Everyone is welcome.
But this fund is a meaningful way for members of the Jewish community to live out the value of Tikkun Olam — locally, tangibly, and immediately.
